Softball: Priscilla Martinez of Mater Dei is Division 1 player of the year

Catcher Priscilla Martinez of Santa Ana Mater Dei has been selected the Southern Section Division 1 player of the year in softball.

In Division 2, the player of the year was Camryn Ybarra of Mission Viejo. Melanie Olmos of Grand Terrace was the player of the year in Division 3. In Division 4, it was Alyssa Loza of North Torrance. In Division 5, it was Olivia Gutierrez of Lompoc. Taylor Roberts of Paraclete was player of the year in Division 6. Kaitlin Buff of Rolling Hills Prep topped Division 7.
