Earthquake: 2.6 quake strikes near Malibu
A shallow magnitude 2.6 earthquake was reported Sunday morning five miles from Malibu, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 8:25 a.m. PDT at a depth of 11.2 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 12 miles from Agoura Hills and 13 miles from Thousand Oaks.
In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
