Earthquake: 3.6 quake strikes San Bernardino County

A shallow, magnitude-3.6 earthquake was reported Sunday morning centered in San Bernardino County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 9:41 a.m. PDT at a depth of 0.6 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 39 miles from Joshua Tree, 41 miles from Twentynine Palms, 41 miles from Yucca Valley and 42 miles from Barstow.

In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
