Five stabbed in knife fight at South L.A. party, police say
Five people were stabbed early Monday during a knife fight at a party in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Officers were called to the scene at South Vermont Avenue and West 84th Street in Vermont Knolls at about 1 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department, and the injured were taken to a local hospital with minor to serious injuries.
A watch commander with the Gardena Police Department said that one of its patrol units stopped a car with two people from the party who had been stabbed.
No one is in custody in connection with the case, police said.
