The wife of a man who accused Justin Bieber of assaulting him in their Calabasas neighborhood said the singer was speeding and acting like a “punk.”

“He was speeding through the neighborhood, driving erratically, like he was on a racetrack,” she told KTLA News in an interview. “We have families here. No sidewalks. This behavior is totally unacceptable.... My husband went up to him to have a civil conversation. But apparently Justin Bieber had a hard time being told to slow down.”

The woman said Bieber was “just being a punk.”

Bieber could not be reached for comment.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.

Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Tuesday the alleged battery did not involve “physical touching,” but he would not provide further details.

The neighbor, who lives near Bieber on Prado Del Grandioso in Calabasas, alleged he was arguing with Bieber outside their homes when the altercation escalated.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived at 9:08 a.m. Tuesday to investigate, Whitmore said.

In May, a photographer who was taking photos of Bieber and then-girlfriend Selena Gomez at a Calabasas mall accused Bieber of kicking and punching him.

But the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office determined there was no evidence to corroborate the allegation.
