LAPD investigating hit-and-run that severely injured pedestrian
Police were investigating a hit-and-run Wednesday night that left one person with severe injuries in South Los Angeles.
The incident happened about 9:40 p.m. at South Normandie Avenue and West 47th Street, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The victim was taken to the hospital and was listed in critical condition.
The hit-and-run vehicle is described as a red Toyota Corolla or burgundy Pontiac.
