A motorist killed by a suspected drunk driver headed in the wrong direction on the 210 Freeway early Saturday in Azusa has been identified, authorities said.

The victim, 19-year-old Justin Romo of El Monte, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred in the freeway's westbound lanes shortly after 3 a.m., authorities said.

The suspected wrong-way driver was later apprehended by Azusa police, authorities said.

The westbound lanes were shut down for several hours before being reopened.
