Firefighters in Santa Fe Springs battle four-alarm blaze
Firefighters in Santa Fe Springs were battling a four-alarm blaze that engulfed a commercial building late Saturday afternoon.
The flames broke out about 4 p.m. in the 12900 block of Sunshine Avenue, officials with the Santa Fe Springs Fire Department said.
The industrial building includes two paint companies and a seafood plant. Aerial footage showed multiple fire engines and firefighters spewing water on the inferno, which was sending plumes of dark smoke into the air.
Firefighters from Downey, Vernon, Compton and L.A. County were assisting.
