Two men were killed in separate shootings that occurred in the same vicinity and about 10 minutes apart in South L.A. early Saturday, police said.

The first victim, Jacoby Plummer, 26, was shot in a drive-by shooting about 12:15 a.m. in the 300 block of East 116th Street, according to the police and the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. Several shots were fired and the gunman remains at large.

About 10 minutes later, officers received a call of a shooting in the 900 block of East 120th Street, police said. When they arrived at the scene, they found the victim, identified as Calvin Williams, 38, with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
