Tens of thousands of Southern Californians on Sunday flocked to Easter sunrises services, musical celebrations and scores of other events to celebrate the Holy Day.

In Hermosa Beach, dozens of Catholic parishioners gathered on the beach to pray as the sun rose behind them. This is the fourth year that Our Lady of Guadalupe Hermosa Beach Catholic Church has sponsored the beachside service.
