Reader Photo: Light and smoke
As in most American cities, the skies of Los Angeles were lit by numerous fireworks displays on the Fourth of July, offering a great opportunity to take up the challenge of shooting fireworks photos.
Tony Butler used a slower shutter speed and narrow aperture in this image to capture the light trails of fireworks in the sky above the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in downtown L.A.
