Two minor leaguers suspended Friday for amphetamine use were released earlier this week by the Dodgers.

Infielder C.J. Retherford, 27, was batting .219 with four home runs for the Dodgers’ double-A Chattanooga affiliate. He hit .311 with 23 home runs last season, split between Chattanooga and Class A Rancho Cucamonga.

Pitcher Ryan Acosta, 24, had a 13.25 ERA in 14 relief appearances split between Chattanooga and Rancho Cucamonga.
