Mission Hills Alemany (1-4, 1-0) at Encino Crespi (2-2, 0-0), Friday at 7 p.m.: This game should leave the winner in the running for a Mission League title. Alemany has shown off an explosive offense, led by quarterback Miles Bryant, receiver Warren Jackson and running back Cayden Dunn. Crespi has an effective defense, but the Celts could have trouble in a scoring duel. The pick: Alemany.

Buena Park (4-0) at La Cañada St. Francis (4-0), Friday at 7 p.m.: The Golden Knights tuned up last week with a win over Dorsey. They’ll face an even more talented offense in Buena Park, which features California commits Jeremiah Hawkins and Taariq Johnson at receiver. St. Francis quarterback Michael Bonds will need to be accurate and avoid turnovers. The pick: St. Francis.
