Girls’ basketball: Keppel trails Mitty at halftime
Missed shots were the story in the first half of the CIF Division II state final at Haas Pavilion.
Archbishop Mitty leads Keppel 17-11 after two quarters. Neither team made a field goal in the second quarter and there were a combined 26 first-half turnovers.
Kelli Kamida has six points for Keppel, which has made only three of 20 field goal attempts. Mitty hasn’t been much better, shooting 6-of-20.
