An inspiration: Jaide Bucher, one-handed softball player
Jaide Bucher was born with one hand, but that doesn’t keep her from playing the game she loves. Forced to learn to play unlike anyone else, she met the challenge with an unwavering determination that she carries with her every time she steps on the field.

Jaide Bucher, who plays high school softball with one hand, is the focus of a Gatorade spotlight, "Win From Within."

The Denver high school sophomore (Northglenn High) is profiled in the series. She was born with one hand but is playing catcher in softball.

She got to meet former major leaguer Jim Abbott, who also was born with one hand. See video above for her story.
