Baseball: Sean Paquet pitches Servite past Santa Margarita, 1-0

Sean Paquet, a junior pitcher, allowed one hit in six innings to help Servite defeat Santa Margarita, 1-0, on Monday in a Trinity League game.

Michael Frias got the save with a scoreless seventh. Servite improved to 10-11-1 and 2-4. Santa Margarita dropped to 4-3 in league.

JSerra took over sole possession of first place with a 5-3 win over St. John Bosco. Christian Molfetta and David Wendzel each hit home runs. Jake Pries got the save. Kameron Ojeda had three hits for St. John Bosco. The two teams play again on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Angel Stadium.

In the Gold Coast League, Campbell Hall defeated Paraclete, 3-2. Ryan Croutch had a double and two RBI. Jesse Shatsky added two hits.

Moorpark defeated Westlake, 8-0. Max Friz had two hits and three RBI.

Sylmar defeated Hueneme, 4-1. San Fernando defeated Van Nuys, 10-1.
