Share

Because the CIF is anticipating a sellout for Saturday’s Open Division Southern California Regional final between Chino Hills and Bishop Montgomery, it has made that game at The Pyramid in Long Beach a separate ticket.

It will start at 8:30 p.m. and the arena will be cleared after the conclusion of the Open Division girls’ final between Chaminade and Long Beach Poly at 5 p.m.

Tickets for session 2 are $16 for adults and $8 for seniors 65 and over, students and children. All tickets will be reserved seating.

Tickets will be available online starting at noon on Wednesday and at The Pyramid box office from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. They also will be available at Chino Hills and Bishop Montgomery during a designated time period.

Once the tickets are sold out, a limited number of standing room only tickets will be sold for $10.

Chino Hills games have been selling out at gyms across the Southland. Its Southern Section final game drew an estimated 12,000 to Honda Center. The Pyramid seating capacity is a little more than 5,000, though 6,912 got in for a basketball game against North Carolina in 2012 with expanded seating. Saturday’s game will be televised by Time Warner Cable.

There will be five games played prior to Chino Hills-Bishop Montgomery at The Pyramid starting at 9 a.m. (moved up an hour). The Division 2 girls at 9 a.m., followed by Division 2 boys at 11 a.m., Division 1 girls at 1 p.m., Division 1 boys at 3 p.m. and Open Division girls at 5 p.m. General admission tickets are available for $18 and can be purchased online beginning on Thursday at noon,
