Boys’ basketball: Van Nuys is challenging Sylmar in the Valley Mission League
Van Nuys, at 11-10 overall and 5-1 in the Valley Mission League, is set to face Sylmar on Wednesday to decide first place.
The Wolves are looking like one of the top seeds for the City Section Division III playoffs.
Sylmar was upset by Kennedy, 53-49, on Friday night.
