Dominic Davis did just about whatever he pleased for Mission Hills Alemany during the first half of Friday night’s intersectional game at Rancho Cienega Park in Los Angeles. There was little, if anything, that Dorsey could do to stop the senior.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound running back, who committed to Washington State in late July, gained 131 yards in seven carries in two quarters worth of work to help the Warriors rally from a two-touchdown deficit for an 18-15 lead at intermission.

His 44-yard run set up a one-yard touchdown by quarterback Blake Green to start the second quarter. Davis picked up 30 yards on the next drive, capped by another one-yard scoring run by Green. Davis’ 20-yard run led to a 35-yard touchdown catch by Brandon Pierce before the break.

Dorsey Coach Paul Knox was visibly upset as his team headed to the locker room as the first half came to a close. That said, if the defense does not figure out an answer for Davis, sooner rather than later, it could end up being be a long second half for the Dons.
