Football: Stevie Williams is Eastern League player of the year

Quarterback Stevie Williams of Garfield has been selected the player of the year from the Eastern League.

The offensive player of the year was Lavell Thompson of South Gate. The offensive lineman of the year was John Salcido of Roosevelt. The defensive player of the year was junior Joseph Silva of Garfield. The defensive lineman of the year was Antonio Olivares of South Gate.
