Update -- The Kings, who have won three consecutive games for the fourth time this season, used seven defensemen in a 4-3 shootout victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday. Coach Andy Murray said he did so because he expected a physical game. Mathieu Garon will start in goal for the 14th time in the last 18 games. Mikka Kiprusoff of the Flames had given up only 10 goals in eight games before giving up five in a 5-4 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Monday.
