America’s Cup race to be televised live today

The NBC Sports Network is scheduled to have live coverage of the America’s Cup yacht-racing competition from San Francisco at 1 p.m. PDT Monday.

New Zealand’s Emirates Team New Zealand had led the U.S. entrant, Oracle Team USA, by as much as 8-1, but the U.S. boat has narrowed that to 8-5. The New Zealand boat needs one more victory to take the title.

Oracle Team USA has avoided elimination by winning four straight America’s Cup Finals races. In what would be the greatest comeback in the history of the 162-year event, the team can win the regatta by sweeping all four of the remaining races.
