Update: Despite having seven regulars sidelined by injury, unbeaten Chivas USA is in first place in the Western Conference, one point ahead of second-place Seattle, an expansion team. Each team will be missing a key player because of suspension. Seattle goalkeeper Kasey Keller was red-carded in a 1-0 loss to Kansas City last weekend for handling the ball outside the penalty area and will sit out the game. Chivas USA midfielder Paulo Nagamura also is suspended after picking up two yellow cards in a scoreless tie against the Galaxy last weekend. Tonight’s match should see the L.A. debuts of former Arsenal and Sweden national team star Freddie Ljungberg as well as Seattle’s young Colombian striker Fredy Montero.
