Celtics beat the Heat at the buzzer

Jeff Green capped a last-minute Boston rally with a three-point shot at the buzzer and the Celtics stunned the Heat, 111-110, Saturday at Miami. The Heat had led 110-106 with 3.6 seconds on LeBron James’ two free throws. Gerald Wallace responded with a layup for the Celtics with 1.6 seconds left and fouled Dwyane Wade, who missed the first free throw and deliberately bounced the second free throw off the backboard and the Celtics got the ball. Then Wallace found Green with a pass in the right corner for the Boston’s winning shot.

at Cleveland 127, Philadelphia 125 (2 OT): Kyrie Irving scored 39 points and made a layup with 0.6 of a second left in the second overtime to lift the Cavaliers.

Indiana 96, at Brooklyn 91: Paul George scored 24 points and the Pacers improved the NBA’s best start in franchise history to 7-0. The Pacers, who in the 1970-71 season as an ABA team won their first six games, now have the longest winning streak to open an NBA season since both the Lakers and New Orleans were 8-0 in 2010-11.

at Toronto 115, Utah 91: Tyler Hansbrough, who made 11 of 13 free throws, came off the bench to score 23 points to lead the Raptors.

at Atlanta 104, Orlando 94: Jeff Teague had 19 points and 13 assists, and Paul Millsap added 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Hawks.

at Memphis 108, Golden State 90: Zach Randolph, whose son was born Wednesday, had 23 points in his return to the Grizzlies, who had a 54-18 advantage in the paint.

Dallas 91, at Milwaukee 83: Monta Ellis, playing against his former team, shook off the crowd’s boos and produced 18 points and five assists in the Mavericks’ win.

Portland 96, at Sacramento 85: LaMarcus Aldridge had 22 points to lead the Trail Blazers.
