Update: The Sparks have won nine games in a row, the longest current winning streak in the WNBA. They have secured a playoff spot and are in second place in the Western Conference, 11/2 games behind first-place Minnesota. This is the first of a five-game trip before the Sparks finish the regular season with four games at home. Tulsa is in fifth place in the conference but has won two of its last three games. The Sparks will try to win 10 games in a row for the first time since 2001, when they won 18 consecutive games. Kristi Toliver, who has averaged 25.3 points in the last three games, leads the Sparks in scoring at 18.6 points per game. The Shock is led by Ivory Latta, who is averaging 13.3 points per game.
