KEYS TO A UCLA VICTORY

Share

1. Avoid turnovers: Quarterback Drew Olson has only three interceptions this season and he can’t afford to start turning the ball over today against USC’s opportunistic defense.

2. Make big plays: The Bruins have to execute momentum-changing plays on both sides of the ball to keep the Trojans out of sync. UCLA has to force USC to react more than it attacks.

3. Slow down Reggie Bush: UCLA might not be able to stop USC’s multi-talented back, but the Bruins can at least slow him down. The best way to do that is to limit his touches as a receiver and kick returner.
