Lakers guard Xavier Henry will miss at least another week because of a sprained knee, according to a team spokesman.

Henry, who sprained his knee on Dec. 30, was also originally diagnosed with an abnormality of the lateral meniscus.

Dr. Steve Lombardo of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic was scheduled to examine Henry on Tuesday before the Lakers hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers. After ramping up his workouts, Henry felt soreness Monday, delaying his return.

The Lakers start a seven-game road trip on Wednesday night in Phoenix. Henry will be reevaluated in either Chicago or Miami, after the team plays at least three games (also in Boston and Toronto).

Injuries have defined the season for the Lakers. Henry is just one of many key players the Lakers have been forced to play without -- losing 10 of their last 11 games.
