NFC notes: Panthers put nine-game regular season win streak on line vs. Eagles

Arizona: Carson Palmer needs 175 yards to pass Donovan McNabb for 20th on the NFL career passing list. Arizona is 15-4 at home under Coach Bruce Arians.

Atlanta: Devonta Freeman leads the NFL with 10 touchdowns, which is more than any Falcon had all of last season. He’s second in rushing yards (505).

Carolina: The Panthers have won nine straight regular-season games going back to last season. Cam Newton has 27 games with a rushing and passing touchdown.

Chicago: The Bears signed defensive lineman Ziggy Hood after cutting veteran lineman Jeremiah Ratliff, who had missed sat out three games to because of suspension.

Dallas: The Cowboys have lost three in a row, but have won their last five games against the Giants. Linebacker Sean Lee leads Dallas with 41 tackles.

Detroit: Theo Riddick has 33 catches, the most by a Lions running back through six games since James Jones had 34 in 1984. Riddick has just 38 yards in nine carries.

Green Bay: The Packers could get safety Morgan Burnett (calf) back for Week 8 following the bye. Burnett has had seven interceptions and 335 tackles in six seasons.

Minnesota: Rookie Stefon Diggs has 13 catches for 216 yards in his first two games. Teddy Bridgewater has just three passing touchdowns.

New Orleans: Since 2009, only five teams have won more road games than the Saints (28). Linebacker Hau’oli Kikaha leads NFL rookies in sacks (four).

N.Y. Giants: Eli Manning has thrown nine touchdown passes with just one interception in his last four games against the Cowboys at MetLife Stadium.

Philadelphia: Sam Bradford has had five passes intercepted in his last two starts, both wins. Philadelphia forced five turnovers in last meeting with Carolina.

San Francisco: The 49ers managed just 55 yards in the first half against NFC West foe Seattle on Thursday, and were only able to score only with a field goal.

Seattle: No quarterback in the NFL has been sacked more than Russell Wilson after the 49ers brought him down five times Thursday to bring the total to 33.

St. Louis: The Rams have won three of their last four games against the Browns. Rookie Todd Gurley has rushed for 305 yards in his last two games.

Tampa Bay: Rookie quarterback Jameis Winston has thrown for at least 200 yards with one touchdown in each of his five games. He’s been picked off seven times.

Washington: Jamison Crowder has 27 catches with 244 yards receiving, both tops among NFC rookies. Redskins have been outscored, 46-3, in the third quarter.
