Update: The Galaxy missed forwards Robbie Keane and Gyasi Zardes and first-choice keeper Jaime Penedo in last week’s loss to D.C. United. But all three are back from international duty and expected to start Saturday in Vancouver. Keane and Zardes have accounted for three of the team’s five goals this season, and without them, the Galaxy was shut out for the first time this season. The Galaxy has lost just once in 12 matches with Vancouver in all competitions but there are a couple of other streaks in play: the Galaxy hasn’t won in six straight league games on the road, dating to last season, while the Whitecaps have won a franchise-record three in a row. The Galaxy has twice dropped roads points this season by conceding goals in the 90th minute or later, losing in Washington last week and giving up the go-ahead goal in a draw at Portland in the season’s second week.
