Dustin Johnson paired with fiancee’s dad, Wayne Gretzky, at Pebble Beach
It will be a family affair at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this week.
With play beginning Thursday, tournament officials have paired Dustin Johnson with his future father-in-law.
That would be Wayne Gretzky.
Johnson and the Great One’s daughter, Paulina Gretzky, had their first child, a son named Tatum, last month. Dad and granddad will play the first three rounds with Jordan Spieth and country singer Jake Owen.
This marks the second tournament back for Johnson after he was suspended by the PGA Tour last year. Golf.com reported that he had tested positive for cocaine. Johnson has told selected media outlets that he has been dealing with issues related to alcohol.
During his time away from the tour, he reportedly played golf frequently with Wayne Gretzky.
