Watch Angels’ Mike Trout hit for the cycle against Seattle

Mike Trout, who seems to have accomplished in less than two seasons what it would take most players a career to do, became the youngest player in American League history to hit for the cycle Tuesday night during the Angels’ 12-0 victory over Seattle.

Trout came to bat in the eighth inning needing a home run to hit for the cycle. As you can see in the video above, he got it.

After the game, Trout said it was the first cycle of his baseball career, “high school, Little League, everything,” he said.

“If I were a betting man,” Angels Manager Mike Scioscia said, “I’ve got to believe there’s another cycle in his career somewhere.”

Before his cycle-capping homer, Trout had struck out in the first inning, singled in the third, tripled in the fourth and doubled in the sixth.
