Redskins quarterback RG3 keeps striking a pose

Share

When Robert Griffin III, best known as RG3, had his spectacular debut earlier this month, the world got a glimpse of “Griffining.” That’s when the Redskins’ rookie quarterback signaled touchdown (pictured at left) after getting knocked to the ground on a long scoring pass to Pierre Garcon.

RG3, the second overall pick in the draft, led Washington to a 40-32 victory over the Saints in New Orleans by passing for 320 yards and two touchdowns without an interception.

“Who would have thought getting knocked on your butt and throwing a touchdown would start a phenomenon like that?” Griffin said. “But it is what it is.”

Griffin was just as dynamic in a 31-28 loss on Sunday to the St. Louis Rams when he passed for 206 yards and a touchdown with one interception and ran for an additional 82 yards and two scores.

In his second outing, Griffin began striking a new pose (pictured above), similar to “Tebowing,” a phenomenon that swept the sports world last year.

No word on whether we will see a new pose in Game 3.
