So Brooks might know what he's talking about when he offers this assessment of the 2012 offensive rookie of the year, via Comcast SportsNet: "He's obviously a man and he makes his own decisions, but I personally don't feel he should be playing right now."
Griffin has been playing on a repaired right knee after ligament damage in playoff loss back in January. When asked, Brooks confirmed that is the reason he feels RG3 doesn't belong on the field at this point.
"I don't think he should be playing," he said. "You can see it. Everybody can see it, everybody can see it."

Monday was a particularly bad night for Griffin, who completed just one of his first six attempts for -1 yard with an incompletion during the 27-6 loss to the 49ers. He finished 17 for 27 for 127 yards with a passer rating of 58.7. Plus, many of his passes just weren't on target.
