Tom Brady's four-game suspension was lifted by a federal judge Thursday morning, and folks around the league were quick to react.

The Patriots organization let a photo do the talking.

As can be expected, Brady's teammates are ecstatic.

Other players who have been suspended by Goodell in the past were quick to chime in on the decision.

Scott Fujita -- a now-retired linebacker who, like Jonathan Vilma, was one of the players suspended by Goodell as part of the the New Orleans Saints "Bountygate" scandal (those suspensions were eventually overturned) -- issued a series of tweets looking at the larger picture.

Others -- such as Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon, who is suspended at least a year for violating the league's substance abuse policy -- could only marvel at Brady and his growing legacy.

Not everyone was happy about the decision. Former NFL great Eddie George lashed out about Brady and the Patriots on Dan Patrick's radio show minutes after the news broke.

“This clearly shows to me that they play by a different set of rules and they’re above the law to some degree," George said of the Patriots.

POLL: Do you agree with the judge's decision to lift Tom Brady's suspension?

Asked if he thought Brady was a cheater, George answered without hesitation, "Yeah, I do."

He added: “For him to beat a four-game suspension and not be held for his actions and his involvement in this, to say that he didn’t know is a crock to me. When guys are getting knocked off for performance-enhancing drugs [they get a] four-game suspension. It’s the same thing, it’s performance enhancement.

“It’s disappointing to see he can get away with this and others can’t.”
