At the top of UCLA Coach Jim Mora’s list of concerns this week is the unknown.

Nevada, the Bruins’ opponent Saturday night in the Rose Bowl, has a new coach, Brian Polian.

The Wolf Pack retained offensive coordinator Nick Rolovich and will run the “pistol” offense invented by former Nevada Coach Chris Ault.

But wrinkles can cause a furrowed brow on Mora.

“There is the uncertainty,” Mora said. “We don’t know exactly what they will be like. There are different influences than last season. We don’t have any real film to work off of.”

They do have video of Nevada quarterback Cody Fajardo, who had 1,121 yards rushing and 2,786 yards passing in 2012.

“He has the ability to keep plays alive and make you pay down field if you come off coverage,” Mora said. “We’re going have to handle him.”
