Receiver Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, has quit the UCLA football program, again.

Broadus was not in attendance at the opening day of training camp Monday.

“He’s going to pursue other passions in his life and we encourage that,” Coach Jim Mora said after practice.

Broadus did not report to training camp as a freshman last year but returned to the team for spring practice as a walk-on player.

He was once considered a four-star recruit by several scouting services. He caught 139 passes for 1,810 yards and 26 touchdowns at Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas.

“I appreciate the fact that he came back out this spring and gave it another shot, but this is an incredibly talented young man in so many areas and it will be fun to watch what he does with his life,” Mora said.
