The name of historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum could be changing.

USC has retained Fox Sports to explore the possibility of selling the stadium’s naming rights, a USC spokesperson confirmed Wednesday.

Sports Business Journal first reported the deal.

The six-year agreement does not guarantee that rights would be sold, the spokesperson said.

USC football has been played in the Coliseum since it opened in 1923. Athletic Director Pat Haden said in August that USC, which controls the Coliseum, could break ground on major reconstruction of the stadium in three years.

The 93,000-seat stadium has played host to two Olympics, two Super Bowls and a World Series, among other events.
