Michael Douglas comedy 'Last Vegas' wins ratings appeal

The makers of "Last Vegas," a "Hangover"-style comedy for the senior set, won an appeal of the film's R rating Thursday, a rare case of the Motion Picture Assn. of America overturning a ruling. The CBS Films movie, which stars Michael Douglas as a lifelong bachelor who takes a trip to Las Vegas with friends on the eve of his wedding, will now be rated PG-13 for "brief sexual content and language." Directed by Jon Turteltaub from a script by Adam Brooks and Dan Fogelman, "Last Vegas" also stars Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline.
