Jon Barry to lead ESPN's NBA radio broadcasts

Jon Barry, a 14-year NBA veteran, has reached a multiyear agreement to serve as the lead NBA analyst on ESPN Radio.

Barry will work more than 40 regular-season and playoff broadcasts, ESPN said, with Kevin Calabro returning as play-by-play broadcaster.

Dr. Jack Ramsay, 88, who had become a familiar and popular voice on the ESPN broadcasts, has retired. Ramsay had to step aside in the middle of the playoffs last season because of an illness, believed to be a recurrence of cancer.
