Lakers make signing of Florida guard Michael Frazier official

On Tuesday, the Lakers announced the signing of undrafted Florida guard Michael Frazier. Last week, The Times reported that Frazier would join the Lakers on a two-year, $1.4-million contract. Frazier will still have to fight his way through training camp, as only $50,000 of his rookie salary ($525,093) is guaranteed. The 6-foot-5 Frazier averaged 12.1 points and 1.4 assists a game with the Gators, shooting 48.2% from the field and 38% from three-point range. The Lakers are expected to bring 17 to 20 players to training camp, but the regular-season roster limit is 15.
