Roger Goodell has stated that he wants the NFL to more than double its yearly revenue by 2027, and apparently he's not above asking for handouts in order to do so. Why else would a league that's already worth $10 billion suggest that some sort of financial contribution might be necessary for the world's biggest musical performers to be named headliners of the Super Bowl halftime show?
