Janet Jackson plans 15 shows in Las Vegas this summer
Janet Jackson will bring a 15-show residency called “Metamorphosis” to Las Vegas this summer at the Park Theater at Park MGM.
Jackson announced Tuesday that she will perform on selected days in May, July and August.
Tickets to the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. Pacific time Saturday, starting at $79. (A pre-sale for certain Citibank cardholders starts Wednesday.)

Announcing the show on social media, Jackson described it as “a celebration of my journey and the 30th anniversary of #RhythmNation!” The album, called “Rhythm Nation 1814” and accompanied by a video, took on social and political issues.
Jackson will perform May 17, 18, 21, 22, 25 and 26; July 24, 26, 27 and 31; and Aug. 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10. Shows start at 8 p.m.
Jackson, who has won five Grammy awards, joins fellow female pop stars Cher and Lady Gaga, who also have dates at the Park Theater.
