Latrese Johnson of Clovis High set a National Interscholastic Federation record of 6-2 3/4 in the girls’ high jump Friday at the North Yosemite League Relays in Sanger.

Johnson’s effort broke the 1982 mark of 6-2 1/4 set by Kym Carter of East High in Wichita, Kan. It also equaled the all-time high school record set by Lisa Burnhagen of Wood River High of Hailey, Ida. in 1983.
