L.A. Valley Wins Behind Hernandez’s Four-Hit Shutout
Sophomore Bob Hernandez handcuffed Antelope Valley on four hits Thursday to give L.A. Valley a 3-0 victory at home.
Hernandez (3-2) no-hit the Marauders (4-4, 9-7) past the third inning and retired 14 consecutive hitters. He struck out eight and walked two. The complete game was Hernandez’s third of the year.
The left-hander helped improve Valley’s Mountain Valley Conference record to 4-3 (8-8-1 overall).
