GRAVE ROBBERS
Those brain-eating zombies from “Return of the Living Dead” will return for sloppy seconds in “Return of the Living Dead Part Two,” to begin filming before year’s end.
Ken Wiederhorn (“Shock Waves”) will write/direct, with the storyline picking up shortly after the nuclear finale of Part One, according to associate director Ann Bell and a source close to the script.
“An Army convoy is transporting some cylinders which contain zombies away from the town when one falls off the truck and springs a leak, sending the zombie gas into the air--making more zombies,” says Bell.
Actors James Karen and Thom Mathews, who joined ranks of the living dead in the original film, are being courted for the pivotal roles of grave robbers.
