Kings Play First of Two With Jets at Winnipeg
WINNIPEG, Canada —
The Kings, coming off a win and a tie in the first two games of a five-game trip, will open a two-game set against the Winnipeg Jets tonight.
The Kings (7-11-2) have a 6-5 victory over Washington and a 4-4 tie with Chicago behind them but will face a tough test against the Jets (12-6-1), who share first place in the Smythe Division with Edmonton at 25 points apiece.
The Kings, who are in fourth place, and the Jets will play again here Sunday.
