UNDERSTANDING NAM
Unlike Superman Chuck Norris, I personally have nothing against Oliver Stone’s “Platoon,” per se.
Its depiction of U.S. involvement in Southeast Asia is accurate, disturbing, horrifying and, above all, honest.
However, did any moviegoer notice throughout this film that about 40%-50% of its dialogue was just about indecipherable?
