Jogger Who Was Struck, Killed by Car in Northridge Is Identified
A jogger killed Saturday when struck by a car in Northridge was identified as Norman Klein, 48, of Northridge, the county coroner’s office said Thursday.
Dean Gilmore, a spokesman for the coroner’s office, said Klein received multiple injuries and was pronounced dead after being taken to Holy Cross Hospital.
According to police, the victim was jogging east on Sesnon Boulevard east of Crystal Springs Circle when he was struck by a car driven by Lawrence Lerner, 29, of Northridge.
No charges have been filed against Lerner.
