Center Adam Keefe of Woodbridge High School, who finished his three-year career as the 11th leading scorer in state history, heads the list of selections for the South team in the 23rd Orange County All-Star basketball game June 25 in UC Irvine’s Bren Center.

Keefe, who has signed with Stanford, led Woodbridge to the Southern Section’s 2-A division title game for two straight seasons and to the state championship in 1987. He finished his high school career with 2,212 points.

The team, coached by Bill Shannon of Woodbridge, features five players--Gylan Dottin of Saddleback, Steve Guild of Marina, Bobby Joyce of Santa Ana, Chris Tower of Westminster and Keefe--who have signed with Division I basketball programs. Also, Bret Johnson of El Toro has signed with a Division I football program.
