Signing Sax Even More Important to Dodgers

It puzzles me that, after winning the World Series with a big assist from Steve Sax and Mike Marshall, Fred Claire tried to play it fast and loose with these two great players. It is gratifying to know that Claire had a change of heart and signed Marshall, but it seems to me that Steve Sax is even more important to the team.
